Job Summary
Oversee Hyannis Youth and Community Center facilities (gymnasium, game room, walking track, skating rinks, lobby, common areas, meeting spaces); assist daily operations; ensure adherence to HYCC policies; manage seasonal personnel and daily sales accountability; requires First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 3 months and completion of junior year of high school and/or 17 years old; strong public interaction and communication skills, policy adherence, and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Certification in First Aid, CPR and AED (must be obtained within 3 months of employment)
- Completion of junior year of high school and/or at least 17 years of age
- Knowledge of policies, procedures, rules, regulations and operations of the Hyannis Youth and Community Center
- Ability to deal with the public tactfully and patiently
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other Town employees
- Ability to handle multiple and varied tasks
- Good communication skills and ability to deal with the public in a professional manner
