Seamstress

Make made-to-measure garments according to customer and manufacturing specifications, fit, alter, and repair garments as required. Lay out, cut, sew, and press materials to make hats, while also producing, altering, or re-styling fur garments and accessories. Operate sewing machines or sew by hand, select and modify commercial patterns to fit specifications, and design patterns based on measurements. Mark, cut, and sew fabric to complete production tasks. This full-time role in Halifax, NS requires 30 to 40 hours per week at $17.00 hourly. Candidates must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or hold a valid work permit.
