Job Summary
Manage all alterations, fittings, and sewing, steaming, pressing, and spot cleaning of garments to company standards while maintaining quality control guidelines and inspecting all items before final delivery. Greet and escort customers to appointments, resolve service issues swiftly, and assist stylists in closing sales by consulting on gown fit and customization. Process special orders, maintain inventory management, and ensure alteration pricing meets company standards while supporting cash wrap behaviors and POS transactions. Uphold store standards, including the Dress Code Policy, and keep the alterations room consistently clean and organized. Perform duties as assigned by store management, requiring manual dexterity to sew and lift up to 10 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree
- 1-2 years prior retail experience in an apparel or specialty store environment
- Prior sewing experience required
- Prior experience in a bridal and/or special occasion production environment
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience with computerized POS (Point of Sale) system is a plus
