Job Summary
Seamstress/Tailor performs quality alterations on store merchandise, including hemming jeans and pants, following guest specifications and ticket instructions. Responsibilities include measuring and marking alteration lines, removing stitches, resewing with needle/thread or sewing machine, pressing merchandise, repairing defects, and recording alterations in the log. Requires ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holiday periods; operates Buckle-supplied sewing equipment and maintains a clean, organized work area; adheres to store policies and ethics. Part-time role with teammate discounts and benefits after waiting period. Minimum education requirement is a high school diploma or GED, or related sewing/alteration experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related sewing, fitting, and alteration experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
