Job Summary
Seamsperson and Stores Assistant responsible for basic sewing tasks (hemming, ironing, alterations, medal mounting per Defence specifications), measuring and fitting customers for clothing, managing clothing-store inventory and records, receiving and auditing stores, assisting with kit issues, and maintaining documentation and warehouse records; strong customer service and sewing skills, prior retail/clothing operations experience, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Required Qualifications
- Australian citizenship
- Basic to intermediate sewing skills
- Experience measuring and fitting garments
- Previous experience in retail or clothing store operations
- Proven ability to schedule workloads and meet production deadlines
