Job Summary
Deck Hand at SVITZER: responsible for performing operational vessel tasks under the Master’s direction, maintaining safety and readiness for deployment, and supporting salvage and shore-to-vessel operations. Duties include standing watches, maintaining deck/engine room/accommodation areas, enforcing Stop Work and Take 5 safety procedures, participating in safety training and drills, and ensuring compliance with HMS policies and local regulations. Responsibilities also cover proactive safety reporting, onboarding of visitors, induction training, and contributing to maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment preparation to ensure the vessel is ready for deployment. Required Qualifications
- II/4 - Nav Watch Rating - Unlimited
- Basic Safety Training (STCW A-VI/1)
- Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties A-VI/6
- Valid Seafarer Medical
