Job Summary
Sealing Department Engineer role in Northland: lead, coordinate and supervise sealing works across the Northland region, plan and allocate people, plant and materials to keep work moving, support safe bitumen application, and ensure compliance with environmental, quality and consent requirements. Develop practical solutions to deliver contracted works safely and to high standards, report incidents and improvement opportunities, and foster a strong team culture where people back each other and deliver Good Work every day. Strong emphasis on safety, collaboration with field crews and subcontractors, and delivering on time and within budget.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role, or a relevant tertiary qualification such as BE or NZCE
- A full NZ Class 1 licence, with Class 2 an advantage
- Experience delivering work on time and within budget
- The ability to lead, motivate and support field crews
- Experience allocating resources, materials and plant
- Knowledge of surfacing or sealing works would be an advantage
