Sealer

Sealer/Prepper responsible for preparing equipment for painting through sealing, masking, sanding and related tasks. Operate sealing equipment or use filler to fill holes, dents, and seams; file, grind, and sand repaired body surfaces; mask surfaces in preparation for painting; mix, blend, and match paint colors; apply primers and repaint surfaces using brush or spray guns; monitor parts usage and report material issues; assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts and supplies; work in a team environment with minimal supervision; comply with Silent-Aire safety program and Alberta OH&S Act; overtime as required. Qualifications include college/vocational/technical training in related field as an asset, with experience in sheet metal or autobody prep as assets, ability to read blueprints is an asset, and strong communication skills. Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 lbs; ability to distinguish colors; working in a commercial/industrial environment with safety considerations.
