Job Summary
Seal Repair Technician responsible for disassembly and assembly of rotating equipment following Repair job packets, performing DCI (Dismantle Clean and Inspect), documenting wear and condition of critical components, creating inspection records, evaluating returned material, determining repair operations, verifying BOM/drawings, and ensuring proper cleaning and readiness for reassembly. Role involves basic shop operations and use of equipment such as drill press, bead blast polisher, and lapping machine, under close supervision. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and about 2 years of mechanical seal experience; located in Swedesboro, NJ with in-person work Arrangement. Includes opportunities to engage with global teams and adhere to safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Some college and/or trade school preferred
- Minimum 2 years of mechanical seal equipment experience or comparable experience in relevant markets
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information to customers and colleagues
- Basic math and measurement skills
