Job Summary
Seafood Sales Associate responsibilities include keeping the seafood area well stocked and appealing, greeting customers and providing product information, taking orders for future delivery, assisting with displays and pricing, ensuring freshness and proper signage, handling perishable items per company procedures, maintaining sanitation and safety, assisting with inventory and receiving as needed, and collaborating with team members to support store operations and customer satisfaction. Training provided.
Required Qualifications
- Education: high school diploma or GED (or pursuing); no prior experience required
- Ability to handle seafood products safely and follow health/OSHA rules
- Customer service orientation; ability to smile, greet, and assist customers
- Willingness to participate in training and perform various duties within the department
- Ability to stock, rotate, and display products; maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the seafood area
