Job Summary
Ensure all incoming seafood is properly rotated into stock and maintain a steady production flow by reading schedules to determine items for processing, movement, or distribution. Convey materials using an electric pallet jack, lift seafood up to 100# with assistance, and use an electric scaling machine while standing for long periods in refrigerated rooms. Sort products by size, type, or code, fill requisitions, and assemble customer orders for shipping. Weigh or count items to ensure conformance to standards, mark labels, and maintain work area cleanliness. Work 30-36 degrees in refrigerated environments with a weekly pay rate of $20-$23 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
