Job Summary
Take and prepare customer orders by reading tickets, portioning product, and presenting plated food. Merchandise products, stock packaging supplies, and manage sushi inventory while maintaining a clean, sanitized workstation. Perform AM setup and PM breakdown of sections, ensuring all areas are organized. Interact with guests professionally and collaborate effectively with co-workers. Requires 1+ years of customer service or seafood experience, excellent knife skills, and familiarity with NYC health codes. Must be willing to work nights, weekends, and follow the work schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years experience in a customer service and/or working with seafood
- Excellent knife skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment, learn quickly and show initiative
- Good time management and communication skills
- Understanding of NYC health department codes
- Willing to learn and retain knowledge from our Fish Cutters
- Willing to work nights and weekends
