Seafood Manager

Job Summary
Oversees the seafood department operations at Weis Markets, including inventory management, staffing and scheduling, training and development, merchandising and displays, vendor coordination, and ensuring product freshness and quality. Responsible for customer relations, order processing, backroom organization, adherence to food safety and OSHA standards, and achieving department financial objectives through cost control and profitability initiatives. Primary duties include supervising associates, conducting performance reviews, utilizing the LMS for training, setting up seasonal/local merchandising, ensuring proper dating and rotation, and maintaining high standards for cleanliness and customer service.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required
- Associate or bachelor's degree in business-related or food service-related field desirable
- Minimum 3 years management experience in a retail/restaurant/supermarket environment
