Job Summary
Generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on SME customers by demonstrating superior Sea Logistics product and trade knowledge. Prepare quotations using online tools, submit proposals, and close customer deals while taking pricing decisions in alignment with Customer Care Managers. Deliver presentations on main Sea Logistics products and monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing and offerings. Report customer complaints to the Customer Care Team and align on onboarding new customers by providing robust content in the Customer Promise handover form. Maintain and update customer information using CoreLOG and regularly review customer portfolios with managers.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum bachelor's degree
- Minimum 5 years of extensive track record of professional experience and success as field sales representative in the forwarding / logistics sector
- A good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Very good computer skills, particularly MS Office
- A valid driving license
- able to travel
