Sea Logistics Pricing Specialist

Job Summary
Set margins for pricing requests across all trades by balancing market levels, customer requirements, and internal policies to maintain profitable gross yield. Liaise with internal stakeholders to execute pricing strategies, prepare RFQs, and provide timely responses to rate requests while finding mutual solutions for profit maximization. Set selling prices within given bandwidths and direct shipment bookings based on carrier agreements or lowest prices to ensure full transparency. Maintain up-to-date pricing databases and drive continuous improvements through feedback while strengthening carrier relationships on operational levels. Support global ocean freight operations by managing rate negotiations and trade lane activities for Bangkok Sea Logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Freight Forwarding
- direct experience in Ocean Freight Pricing
- Intermediate level proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot/VlookUp/XlookUp)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills external and internal
- Good organizational skills with the ability to manage routine and time-sensitive pricing activities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in managing carrier allocations, rate negotiations, and trade lane activities
