Job Summary
Support customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints while qualifying inquiries and providing quotations within the given price band. Manage end-to-end shipment coordination for sea freight operations, including FCL and LCL imports and exports, by qualifying and entering customer orders into the operational execution process. Collaborate with Field Sales and Finance to drive engagement, adjust credit limits, and resolve complaints by identifying and eliminating root causes. Create, review, and refine customer reports to ensure delivery against financial targets and strategic objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in Sea Logistics Customer Service or Freight Forwarding
- Strong knowledge of sea freight operations, including FCL, LCL, import, and export shipments
- Experience managing end-to-end shipment coordination, customer orders, and documentation
- Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and excellent service
- Experience handling customer inquiries, preparing quotations, and following up to secure business
- Proven ability to resolve customer complaints, manage escalations, and identify root causes for service improvements
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Sales, and Finance
- Strong commercial awareness with a customer-centric approach to support customer retention and business growth
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and freight forwarding systems (e.g., CargoWise or similar ERP/TMS platforms)
