Job Summary
Provide patient care in Cardiac Progressive Care using the nursing process while maintaining professional accountability and coordinating with other departments. Evaluate care effectiveness, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties consistent with Mercy Service Standards. Maintain current RN licensure and BLS certification within the hiring state. Work 24 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts during scheduled weekends at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. This part-time role offers up to $10,000 sign-on bonus and access to bridging programs for BSN and MSN degrees. Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of nursing experience
- Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure
- Meeting all state board of nursing requirements
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
- Ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
