SDWAN and Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Summary
Act as a technical advisor for SD-WAN, SASE, and cybersecurity solutions by translating customer requirements into high-level designs and integrating them with existing environments. Lead complex sales opportunities by coordinating technical responses, conducting discovery workshops, and managing proof-of-concepts to secure technical wins. Own the preparation of detailed solution documentation, proposals, and RFPs while collaborating with sales, product, and delivery teams to ensure feasibility and scalability. Manage multiple concurrent opportunities to meet individual sales overlay targets. This role reports to the Head of Digital Solutions and Innovation within Vocus's technical-sales team, involving occasional travel to customer sites and a hybrid working model.
Required Qualifications
- Australian citizen able to get the NV1 clearance if needed
- Minimum 3+ years' technical product pre‐sales experience
- Fortinet SD-WAN and SASE sales skills: Proficient
- Fortinet SD-WAN and SASE technical skills: Proficient
- Cybersecurity sales skills: Proficient
- Discovery & requirements capture (use‐cases, success criteria): Proficient
- Solution design & architectures (HLD/LLD, BoM/SoW): Proficient
- Workshops, demos & PoCs facilitation: Proficient
- Documenting assumptions, dependencies & risks: Proficient
- Creating customer-facing presentations and proposals: Proficient
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
