Job Summary
Develop and execute the last-mile delivery strategy to support revenue growth and operational excellence across a high-volume urban network. Oversee daily city-wide operations, including foot messenger and same-day delivery services, ensuring achievement of service-level agreements and delivery commitments. Lead workforce management, route optimization, and technology adoption while managing full P&L responsibility for the operation. Establish long-term operational plans, drive innovation through automation, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement for a diverse team of managers and couriers. Manage key customer relationships, contract negotiations, and business reviews to drive retention and acquisition.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of experience within supply chain
- 5+ years leading large-scale urban delivery operations
- Experience high-volume delivery networks
- Proven success managing large frontline workforces and leadership teams
- Demonstrated P&L management experience
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or equivalent
- Experience as a management consultant or in a strategic role within a supply chain function
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, transportation, courier services, last-mile delivery, or supply chain operations
