Job Summary
Support daily routines, collaborate with children to follow their interests, and create engaging learning experiences while addressing their physical, emotional, and developmental needs. Observe, document, and evaluate learning progress, building environments that promote trust, security, and smooth transitions. Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues to contribute to an inclusive team culture aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards. This Permanent Full-Time role offers above-award pay, discounted childcare for your own children, and monthly RDOs. Join SDN Gold Creek, Nicholls Early Learning and Preschool, a 120-year-old not-for-profit serving 98 children aged 6 weeks to 5 years in Federation Square.
Required Qualifications
- A Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care with relevant industry experience
- A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and care
- Demonstrated experience working in an early childhood education and care setting across all age groups
- A strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Working knowledge of the National Quality Standards
- A valid Working with Children Check
- Current Senior First Aid, CPR and Child Safety Training
- Sound understanding of children's development, health, hygiene, and nutritional needs
- Ability to work collaboratively within a professional team
