Job Summary
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests across the delivery lifecycle for mainframe legacy applications modernizing to distributed systems. Contribute to automation framework design and enhance continuous testing integration with CI/CD pipelines. Maintain traceability from user stories through test cases to scripts while identifying dependencies and defining environmental and data requirements. Act as a technical expert on DTCC applications, researching technical solutions consistent with company standards. Partner with team members to validate functionality, considering privacy and security requirements, and collaborate on development, troubleshooting, and improving overall software quality. Align risk and control processes into daily responsibilities to monitor and mitigate risk.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience (Senior Associate) or 4 years of related experience (Associate)
- Hands on experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, TestNG, etc.
- CI/CD technologies (e.g. Cloudbees, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Cucumber, Git, JUnit, Jira etc.)
- Strong experience with automated testing
- Hands on with backend test automation using Rest Assured/Karate for API testing
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, etc.)
- Solid understanding of databases with the ability to write and optimize SQL queries
- Familiarity with both Agile and Waterfall development methodologies
- Experience working in onsite/offshore coordination models
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Keen attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in collaborative, team-oriented environments
- Stays current on the changes in their area and seeks out learning opportunities to maintain up-to-date knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Databases and SQL preferred
