Job Summary
The AI Quality Engineer (SDET) role at Deposco focuses on ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI-driven applications and automation workflows. Responsibilities include designing and maintaining automated tests, employing automated testing tools, developing automated acceptance and unit tests, and collaborating closely with product owners in a Scrum team. Candidates should be experienced in software quality testing, have a strong understanding of SDLC, and be proficient in at least one object-oriented programming language, preferably with experience in Python and Agile methodologies. The position offers opportunities for shaping future testing practices and supporting the company's growth.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree in Computer Science/Engineering preferred
- 2+ years experience in software quality testing
- 2+ years of Agile Experience
- 2 years Python Experience preferred
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Practical exposure to RESTful automation tools
- Capable of working independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment under tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and organizational abilities
- Demonstrates initiative, accountability, and ownership of projects and quality assurance activities
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in integration platforms
- Familiarity with Atlassian products such as JIRA and Confluence
- Experience working in agile environments
- Proficient in working with JSON and XML message formats
- Solid knowledge of relational databases, with the ability to write MySQL queries
