Job Summary
Backend Engineer (SDE III) to join the team and build seamless integrations with third-party systems. Role centers on leading backend engineering efforts using Python, Django, and FastAPI to design scalable, high-performance services and own the end-to-end lifecycle of integration projects from requirements through deployment. Responsibilities include mentoring the Backend Engineering team, architecting scalable backend systems, collaborating with product managers and designers to translate requirements into technical deliverables, driving the full software development lifecycle, and driving continuous improvement through staying current with industry trends. Key skills include leadership, expertise in Python frameworks (Django, FastAPI), API-driven development, system architecture, and strong communication.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years backend engineering using Python (Django and FastAPI)
- Experience in a leadership role, preferably Technical Lead
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, architectural patterns, and database design
- Ability to lead and inspire a team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make strategic and technical decisions
- Experience with B2B SaaS products or similar industries is a plus
