SCUK Dealer Contact Centre & Funding Advisor (12 month FTC)

Dealer Contact Centre & Funding Advisor role in a hybrid 3-days-in-office arrangement (12 month FTC) for Santander UK Consumer Finance. Responsible for handling inbound telephone queries from motor dealers/brokers, transferring calls to appropriate teams, processing funding applications within delegated authority, ensuring SLA adherence, regulatory/compliance compliance, and Consumer Duty principles. Also responds to emails, ensures signed documentation from introducers is paid, and manages the GI error queue within SLA. Responsibilities include processing funding documents to meet regulatory/legal requirements, identifying potential fraudulent proofs, liaising with Fraud/Financial Crime, advising to resolve dealer queries, coordinating with field-based Sales staff and other business areas, managing post and mailbox within SLA, handling Generic Interface errors, supporting the Leisure & Specialist Funding & DCC team, working deals for Ltd Companies/Partnerships, managing funding referrals, and escalating risks per SAP/guidelines. Qualities sought include excellent communication, team orientation, self-motivation, strong computer literacy and numeracy, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with call/phone-based experience desirable and negotiation skills optional. Hours: 35 per week, Monday–Friday 9–5 with one late shift 11–7 and 1 weekend in 4, hybrid 3 days in office after initial onsite training.
