Job Summary
Scuffer parts prior to painting on medium to large plastic injection molded products; perform inspections, clean ups, and dispose of paint products; operate tools and equipment. This role combines scuffing with painting apprenticeship training, with potential to move into a painting position over time while continuing to scuff as needed. Duties include scuffing parts, spray painting plastic parts in a controlled environment, mixing paints and cure accelerators, using cleaning solutions to prepare surfaces, maintaining spray equipment and paint booth, and adhering to established safety procedures. Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, reliability, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are required.
