Job Summary
Scrum Master role at GDIT requiring TS/SCI with Polygraph; lead Agile teams by planning and facilitating scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, daily standups, demos, reviews, retrospectives), maintaining JIRA, and coordinating with clients and product management to resolve impediments and optimize team performance. Expect to coach up to three medium Agile teams or one large team, provide capacity reports, and ensure aligned delivery in a government contracting context at a Chantilly, VA customer site; US citizenship is required.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree
- Experience: 3+ years of related experience
- Technical skills: Plans and facilitates scrum activities, including sprint planning, daily stand up, demos, board reviews, and retrospectives
- Maintains JIRA and other information radiators for the teams
- Acts as a liaison between development teams and product management
- Identifies and resolves impediments that slow development
- Motivates teams to perform
- Provides reports based on team capacity
- Serves as a scrum master for up to three medium size Agile teams or one large consolidated Agile team
- May coach and provide guidance to less-experienced professionals
- Security clearance level: TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Location: Chantilly, VA (customer site)
- US citizenship required
