Job Summary
Scrum Master role in TransUnion Canada (Ontario) Hybrid position. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives), coach teams on Agile principles and SAFe practices, and support Product Owners with backlog grooming and prioritization. Identify and remove impediments, track progress with Agile metrics (velocity, burndown), and promote collaboration with stakeholders. Drive Lean-Agile transformation, ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum standards, and assist in scaling Agile across multiple teams and ART ceremonies. Build effective communication channels, manage risks, and contribute to value delivery across value streams. Requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 10+ years IT/risk experience, Scrum Master certification, 3-5 years of software delivery experience with Agile, and strong facilitation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 10 years of applicable information technology and risk industry experience
- Scrum Master certification with 8+ years’ experience
- 3-5 years’ experience in software application delivery including Agile delivery with globally distributed teams
- Experience with Scrum, XP, Kanban, SAFe in an Agile environment
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
