Job Summary
Scrum Master needed for Tieto Banktech in Riga, Latvia, within the Financial Crime Prevention department. The role operates in a cross-functional, distributed team and aligns with SAFe, facilitating Agile practices, program increments, and SAFe ceremonies while guiding teams toward higher maturity and delivery quality. You will coach and mentor Agile teams and Product Owners, collaborate with Release Train Engineers and other Scrum Masters to ensure alignment across the Agile Release Train, monitor performance metrics, and drive continuous improvement through data-informed decisions. Requirements include 3+ years as a Scrum Master, SAFe experience, strong facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, Jira/Confluence proficiency, and a relevant bachelor’s degree. The position emphasizes servant-leader coaching, transparency, accountability, and a dynamic, international IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- Experience working in scaled Agile frameworks (preferably, SAFe).
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks, and lean principles.
- Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Experience with Agile project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- High impact and dynamic work on an international level in a leading IT company.
