Job Summary
Provide coaching and guidance to teams to support adoption of agile values, principles, and practices. Facilitate team ceremonies, manage dependencies, and remove impediments to ensure alignment of delivery and business outcomes. Maintain metrics for visibility on team maturity, progress, quality, and value to stakeholders. Protect the team from disruptions and external distractions while enabling self-organization. Participate in Sync events, Scrum Master Forums, and internal agile communities of practices. Utilize effective communication and listening skills to mentor individuals and foster a healthy working culture.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment
- Strong knowledge of Lean-Agile, Scrum practices, and principles
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and understanding of its principles and practices
- Excellent communication, change facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills, able to work under deadlines in a changing environment, and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to interact with executives, managers, subject matter experts, and product owners in matrix structure of product management team
- Extensive knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies, architecture and technical standards
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, etc)
- Working knowledge of tools that support Agile practices such as Jira, Trello, or similar
- Experience in software development lifecycle and/or IT project management
