Job Summary
Facilitate agile ceremonies including PI Planning, Iteration Planning, Standups, and Retrospectives while managing release planning, execution, and Change ticket submissions. Drive demand and delivery management by calculating team capacity versus customer load, tracking velocity, and ensuring JIRA accuracy. Produce weekly, monthly, and iteration reports on PI objectives, backlog health, and commit-to-complete ratios. Resolve team conflicts, remove impediments, and escalate risks to the program or portfolio level. Lead fellow project managers and Scrum Masters to foster a collaborative environment within the financial services sector.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience managing the development team's project and maintenance activities from initiation to production support
- 4+ years of experience working collaboratively with Development teams, EA, QA, Release Management and Infrastructure teams to resolve technical requirements
- 4+ years of experience providing regular written and verbal communication to various audiences throughout the lifecycle of the project
- 4+ years experience and ability to manage Project and Software Development Life Cycle(s) using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
- 4+ years working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence or similar tools
Desired Qualifications
- 4 year college degree, preferably in Project Management, Computer Science, Information Systems, Communications or related technical field
- Experience communicating and collaborating with various business units in regard to project and maintenance efforts
- Comfortable exercising judgment and using analytical skills in ambiguous situations
- Outstanding attention to detail combined with the ability to see the big picture
- Clear, effective verbal and written communication skills including the ability to actively listen, problem solve, and communicate effectively with both technical and business users
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a changing environment; proactive in seeking out information when necessary
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Project or similar tools
