Job Summary
Coach, mentor, and train team members in self-management, cross-skilling, and the Scrum Values. Guide teams through a maturity journey using the Scrum Guide, encouraging best engineering practices like Definition of Done, coding standards, and automation. Schedule and lead Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Planning, and Sprint Reviews for multiple teams, including development groups and Scrum of Scrums. Partner with Product Owners to focus on iterative, customer-centric solutions and help stakeholders enact empirical approaches for complex work. Continuously challenge old norms to improve quality, predictability, and flow while building high-performing team dynamics. This role supports the Non-Kinetic Effects Business Area within Leidos' Defense Sector, specifically aiding the Air Force Research Lab and Air Force Lifecycle Management Center.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
- 4+ years of relevant professional experience
- US Citizen
- active DoD Top Secret clearance
- ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI
- Certified Scrum Master
- Experience working as a Scrum Master or Team Lead for a systems engineering, I.T. Support, or network engineering team
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
- Experience in Agile coaching and leading team transitions and implementations
- Certified Product Owner
- Experience working with large software systems and application testing
- Experience working within an Agile environment or program
- Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development team
- Working knowledge of application programming, database, system design and well as web-based and client/server architectures
