Job Summary
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, standups, reviews, and retrospectives while removing impediments and coaching teams on Agile principles. Track sprint health and velocity in Jira, maintain clean backlogs, and collaborate across squads on dependency reviews. Partner with Product Owners for backlog refinement and actively incorporate AI tools to streamline ceremony prep and surfacing impediment patterns. Contribute to COE initiatives by documenting Ways of Working, leading Agile Guild sessions, and supporting program-level reporting.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master supporting software delivery teams
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification
- Strong working knowledge of Jira — including board configuration, sprint management, and reporting
- Ability to coach teams at different Agile maturity levels without being dogmatic about the framework
- Excellent facilitation and communication skills
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or another regulated industry
- 2-5 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)

- SAFe certification a plus
- Demonstrated curiosity about AI tools and a track record of finding practical ways to apply them in an Agile delivery context — not just awareness, but actual use
