Job Summary
Scrum Master / Delivery Lead to facilitate Agile ceremonies (Quarterly Planning, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Retrospective), drive backlog readiness and prioritization with Product and Engineering leadership, remove delivery impediments, manage cross-functional dependencies, and provide data-driven visibility into progress, risks, and delivery forecasts. Responsibilities include coordinating release planning across Product, Engineering, QA, and other stakeholders; driving continuous improvement, metrics (cycle time, throughput, predictability, sprint health, release performance), and cross-team alignment for complex initiatives. Requires 3-5+ years in a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead role; strong facilitation and stakeholder management; proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Miro; exposure to DevOps and release management; and flexibility to work in hybrid locations listed (Jersey City, NJ; Clarksburg, MD; Fairfax, VA; Phoenix, AZ; Panama City, FL). Preferred: Scrum/AGILE certifications (CSM, PSM I/II, SAFe, ICP-ACC), experience in multi-team environments, metrics-driven improvement, and prior government-focused projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5+ years as a Scrum Master or Delivery Lead
- Proven experience partnering with Product Owners to refine requirements and establish sprint goals
- Hands-on experience with Agile tooling (Jira, Confluence, Miro)
- Exposure to DevOps practices and release management coordination
- Solid understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
