Job Summary
Scrum Master role at Davy Ireland focused on driving Agile delivery and culture for multi-disciplinary teams. Responsibilities include coaching teams and stakeholders on Agile best practices, facilitating sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives, refining the backlog with Product Owners, ensuring clear priorities and transparency on progress and risk, and championing Agile governance, standards and tooling. Requires 5+ years’ experience in software delivery, experience with cross-functional teams and scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Spotify model), and hands-on delivery plus coaching capabilities. Proficiency with Scrum, Kanban, DoR/DoD frameworks, and Jira/Confluence/Azure DevOps; ability to coach, mentor, influence across levels, and promote continuous improvement. The role is offered on a full-time basis with hybrid working options in Dublin, Ireland, within the Davy group.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years’ experience as a Scrum Master in software delivery environments
- Experience working within cross-functional teams (engineering, product, UX, operations) in medium to large-scale organisations
- Exposure to Agile transformation initiatives
- Experience with scaled Agile frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Spotify model) or multi-team environments
- Strong practical knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid models (Scrumban)
- Facilitating core Agile ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, Reviews)
- Defintion of Ready/Definition of Done frameworks
- Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps
- Ability to coach and mentor teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders
- Experience embedding lean principles and efficient workflows
- Comfortable influencing across all levels including senior stakeholders
- Understanding of CI/CD, automation, and DevOps principles
- Experience delivering high-quality software in iterative, incremental cycles
