Job Summary
Assist surgeons with precision and efficiency during ophthalmic procedures while performing technical skills with confidence and accuracy. Provide and assist with instrumentation and supplies as needed, scrubs strictly according to AORN policies and accreditation standards. Maintain aseptic technique and compliance throughout all ophthalmic cases. Requires current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, and proven experience in ophthalmology. Required Qualifications
- Ophthalmology experience
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Surgical Technologist (CST) certification
- Proof of certificate for an accredited Surg Tech program or degree
- Proven scrub tech experience
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques and surgical protocols

- High School Diploma or equivalent
