Job Summary
Maintain a sterile field and uphold aseptic technique while assisting the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, sutures, and equipment. Prepare equipment, instruments, and operating rooms before procedures, assist with scrubbing, gowning, and gloving, and position patients safely. Operate and monitor surgical equipment, prepare dressings, and participate in instrument, sponge, and sharps counts. Clean and restock the operating room post-procedure, document accurately, and respond quickly to changing needs. Required Qualifications
- Completion of a post‐high school Surgical Technology program
- One year of experience in a surgical setting
Desired Qualifications
- CST or CORT certification preferred
