Scrub Technician I

Maintain aseptic technique throughout diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures while anticipating surgeon needs and reporting equipment defects to Biomed. Reprocess scopes per manufacturer instructions, stock unit carts, and manage logs for code carts and refrigerator temperatures. Perform patient care tasks including obtaining vital signs, emptying urinary catheters, and implementing the established plan of care under RN supervision. Work eight-hour shifts Monday through Friday with occasional on-call coverage for off hours, weekends, and holidays. Requires OR Technician program completion, NJ LPN license, and CPR certification.
