Job Summary
Assists surgical teams during operative procedures by arranging sterile set-up, passing instruments, positioning and prepping patients, and controlling bleeding. Performs post-operative care tasks including closing sites with sutures or staples, dressing wounds, and cleaning the operating theater. Collaborates with doctors and nurses to ensure proper patient outcomes while reporting to a supervisor. Requires a Surgical Technologist program graduate with one year of experience, GI experience preferred, and the ability to stand for long periods. Full-time eligible staff receive medical, dental, and vision benefits with competitive hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Surgical Technologists
- Must have 1 years of experience
- Must speak/write English fluently
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to prioritize
- High School diploma or equivalent
- One-year experience as an Surgical Scrub
- Graduate of a certified Surgical Technician program
Desired Qualifications
- GI experience preferred
