Job Summary
Conduct surgical patient preparation and assist the sterile team by selecting instruments, setting up tables, and passing supplies during operative procedures. Maintain a correct count of sponges and instruments while identifying patient needs based on age-specific data. Perform other duties as assigned under direct supervision of the staff nurse. This role requires CST certification, BLS, and completion of mandatory training within a Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm schedule.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) or equivalent education/experience
- Ability to successfully complete Basic Life Support Certification
- Schedule Generally Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
- Call hours required
