Job Summary
Scrub Technician to support urologic surgical procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment; responsibilities include preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments, maintaining a sterile field, passing instruments and supplies, performing surgical counts, assisting with patient positioning and room turnover between cases, proper handling and labeling of specimens, ensuring infection-control compliance, assisting with inventory management and restocking of supplies, and accurate documentation. Requires completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program; CST certification preferred; 1–2 years surgical experience preferred; education: high school diploma or equivalent required; strong teamwork, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program
- Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) preferred
- 1–2 years of surgical experience preferred; urology experience a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent (required); associate degree or higher a plus
