Scrub Nurse - OR (6:45A-3:13P)

Prepare the operating room using sterile technique, review surgeon preference cards, and pull necessary supplies and equipment. Open cases by scrubbing hands, elbows, and arms with disposable brushes, then don sterile attire using the closed gloving method. Count all supplies with the circulating nurse, verify drug labels, and assist the surgical team with draping and instrument passing. Maintain patient safety awareness throughout the procedure, including sponge and needle counts at case closing. This 6:45A-3:13P shift requires annual educational completion, BLS certification, and ACLS/PALS certification (preferred).
