Job Summary
Deliver patient care by applying skills and techniques common to the practice of Operating Room Technician under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Perform tasks related to patient care while maintaining current BLS certification within the initial 90 days of employment. Complete a certification-eligible training program no later than 90 days from date of hire, or a non-certification-eligible program with a preferred minimum of one year experience. This full-time, first-shift role supports the surgical team in a hospital setting.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Successful completion of a certification-eligible training program no later than 90 days from date of hire
- Successful completion of a non-certification-eligible training program no later than 90 days from date of hire
- Current BLS certification within initial 90 days of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred minimum of One year experience
- Certified as an Operating Room Technician
