Job Summary
Document physician, PA, or NP encounters by scribing verbal information into the EMR and ensuring accurate capture of clinical data from prior records, radiology, and labs. Alert providers on quality metrics and HCCs, queue orders for final sign-off, and maintain attestation statements in documentation. Assist with billing summaries and ensure all documentation is completed by the end of the encounter using current CMS and specialty templates. Requires high school graduation with English proficiency and EMR proficiency. Pay range $17.60 - $21.30 hourly.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate/ GED equivalent
- Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner
- Proficiency in computer use
- Basic understanding of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding skills
- Medical Terminology
- Anatomy & Physiology/ Medical Science
