Scribe

Medical scribe responsible for documenting patient medical history and physical exams, procedures and treatments performed by providers, preparing office notes for upcoming appointments, submitting electronic prescriptions, transcribing patient orders (laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications), and recording consultations with family members. Also performs clerical duties as assigned. Requires a High School Diploma/GED and understanding of medical terminology; CMSS certification is preferred; duties occur in collaboration with physicians, advanced practice clinicians, and other clinical staff.
