Job Summary
Medical Scribe assists the Provider during patient encounters to ensure direct patient interaction. Responsibilities include locating and obtaining medical history, documenting notes on the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), facilitating diagnostic tests, and providing compassionate care. Qualifications include a High School Degree or GED, Basic Life Support certification, strong computer skills, flexibility for full-time shifts including weekends, and bilingual skills preferred.
Required Qualifications
- A High School Degree or GED
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or within 30 days of hire
- Computer and typing skills - minimum of 45 wpm
- Flexible with full-time work schedule including rotating weekends
- Bilingual language skills required or preferred based on-site location
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to maintain quick pace in fast paced outpatient facility
- Experience in any service industry

- Ability to commute to satellite offices as needed
