Medical Scribe role at US Heart and Vascular in Tucson, AZ. Responsibilities include accompanying the physician into the patient examination room to transcribe history and physical exams and accurately document the encounter, listing all diagnoses and symptoms, follow-up instructions and prescriptions as dictated, transcribing patient orders (laboratory tests, radiology tests, medications, etc.), documenting procedures performed by the physician, and performing other duties as assigned. Must have knowledge of medical terminology, be able to recognize the physical exam process and record exam details, possess computer proficiency and the ability to quickly learn new applications, and accurately record information in the EHR.
