Job Summary
Reliable student with strong music preparation skills required to assist with copying and librarian tasks for FS-440 Advanced Orchestration, the Berklee Silent Film Orchestra class, and other Film Scoring Department duties as assigned. Responsibilities include copying and librarianship tasks; hours 11:00-2:00pm Mondays in Fall; overall support for Film Scoring Department duties. Requirements include understanding of Film Scoring curricula through 6th semester courses, strong organization and communication skills, and proficiency with Finale and Sibelius; on-campus part-time role reporting to the Division Program Manager; hourly rate $17.51.
Required Qualifications
- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking program
- GPA minimum 2.0 cumulative
- SSN valid
- Remain in valid visa status as applicable
- Federal Work Study student may apply
- Must be located in the U.S.
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Robust Finale and Sibelius skills preferred
- Orchestration and music preparation skills specific to Film Scoring
- Ability to work 11:00-2:00pm every Monday in Fall semester
