Screen Printing Operator - 1st Shift

Job Summary
Set up jobs and process them according to specific instructions and standard operating procedures while maintaining quality standards. Prepare necessary tools, equipment, and materials; make process adjustments to achieve high output and quality printing. Control printing variables and understand the relationship between inks, substrates, and curing/drying processes. Record job documentation, test bulb strength with a US Puck, and perform required maintenance. Keep work areas clean, observe safety rules, and use protective products. Work with solvents and UV-Based inks. Monday-Thursday 5:00am-3:30pm, 3 day weekend.
Required Qualifications
- A strong technical understanding of screen-printing and related functions
- Knowledge of equipment, materials and processes used in the manufacturing of company products
- Strong blueprint reading and math skills, with the ability to use a calculator and measuring equipment
- Ability to prioritize and respond to projects based on urgency and need
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be willing to perform tasks listed in other pay grade job descriptions as required
- Must be able to stand long hours
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to sit
- Must be able to use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools or controls
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to climb stairs
- Must be able to balance
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to talk or hear
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision requirements in close vision
- The ability to adjust focus
- First shift availability
- Monday-Thursday schedule

Desired Qualifications
- a high school diploma/HSED/GED or a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing setting
