Job Summary
Operate multi-color screen printing presses, heat transfers, and pad printing equipment while maintaining proper cleanliness and safety protocols. Fulfill customized orders by setting up and registering jobs with micro-adjustments, mixing ink as required, and aligning artwork with production screens. Perform quality control checks on garments against Style Guide Standards and meticulously match paperwork to ensure ship date compliance. Collaborate with support staff to optimize workflow and adhere to established production guidelines for output. This role requires 2 years of experience with screen printing presses and heat transfer equipment, with a temp-to-hire opportunity available in La Porte, TX.
Required Qualifications
- High volume printer experience
- Strong communication skills, including writing, speaking, and active listening
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- High sense of urgency
- Possess basic PC skills for order lookup and updates
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to other functionalities within the printing process
- 2 years' experience working with screen printing presses, pad printing, and heat transfer equipment
- Knowledge of all aspects of production: setting up/breaking down jobs, burning screens, reclaiming screens, mixing inks, etc.
