Job Summary
VP Finance / Head of Finance at ScrapUncle (ScrapUncle by Swapeco Solutions Pvt. Ltd.) leads finance, accounts, compliance, reporting, and investor-related activities. Build and scale finance processes, ensure statutory compliance, strengthen financial controls, and drive business planning. Responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, profitability analysis, cost controls, monthly MIS and business reports, overseeing GST/TDS and audits, investor updates and fundraising support, coordinating with auditors/legal/consultants, and implementing automation and dashboards in collaboration with operations and tech teams. Requirements include CA (preferred), 6–10 years in startups or related sectors (logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, recycling), strong accounting, taxation, and financial reporting knowledge, proficiency with Excel, MIS, and finance systems, and comfort with a fast-growing, hands-on environment.
Required Qualifications
- CA preferred
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in startups, logistics, e-commerce, manufacturing, recycling, or similar businesses
- Strong understanding of accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting
- Good with Excel, MIS, and finance systems
- Comfortable working in a fast-growing and hands-on environment
